1:How does the scheme work?

Who is a orphan?

HAI field staff identify needy orphans whose father or both parents have passed away and are in dire need of sponsorship. After careful study each case is then forwarded to our office in Manchester for sponsorship. Our field staff is in constant contact with the orphan and their family and make regular visits ensuring the orphan is receiving the full benefits of the sponsorship.

 

2:How is the sponsorship money spent?   

Do we take any admin charges?

A monthly donation of £25 will provide food clothing education (fees uniforms and books) and healthcare for the child. A small amount is also given to help the family or guardian for the upkeep of the orphan. With your help we can ensure more orphans are no longer deprived of what should be rightfully theirs the chance to grow up healthy and happy. 100% of your donation will reach the orphan HAI does not take any admin charges.

 

3:What information will I receive about the orphan I sponsor?

Once HAI has received your first payment for the orphan we will send you full details of the orphan within 14 days God-Willing. These details will will include a picture an update report the orphan field staff . If the orphan is able to personally write to you we will also forward that letter. You will then receive an annual progress report from the date you began the sponsorship informing you of your orphan’s progress.

 

4:I want to sponsor an orphan How do I begin?

There are several ways you can sponsor an orphan

1) Sponsor an orphan online

2) Down load the standing order form and fill in your personal and bank details and post to the HAI address.

3) Send cheque or postal order for £300 (for one year sponsorship) to HAI address

4) Ring 0800 85 42 51 and make annual payment of £300 using your debit or credit card.
